Ryan was an early employee at Felix, the first Pay Per Action phone call product for local businesses. Instead of paying for clicks or phone calls, businesses only pay for potential customers. It was during this time that Ryan was introduced to the world of call tracking and the value of phone calls to local businesses.
Ryan learned that call tracking, and using unique phone numbers for each marketing campaign, is essential to determine which marketing channels are driving high quality phone calls. Ryan joined Felix in the summer of 2010, shortly after Felix had raised over $20 million from the same prominent investors who have backed Google, Twitter and Netflix.
Felix was acquired by IAC in August of 2012.
Michael is an incredibly talented user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) designer from Sydney, Australia. He’s very passionate about solving critical problems across all mediums. He has contributed UX insights to well known brands such as Shopify and Adobe.
Michael has had the privilege to work closely with global digital corporations such as Adobe. He led UX design teams and was part of some of Australia’s & Silicon Valley’s hottest startups including Snappr, Lantern, Hipages, Spaceship, Freelancer, Oneflare & more.
In the past Michael has designed, built, scaled and sold a number of online ventures, from an online arcade to a network of proxies. He ‘growth hacked’ a number of online affiliate marketing campaigns to over $200,000 in 4 months.
He is also the founder of Product Hunt #1 featured product of the day, UI Garage and Bucket.
In 2016 Michael was invited to attend the AdobeMAX event in San Diego as an exclusive insider. He was responsible for hosting the Live UX show on behalf of Adobe.
In January of 2017, Microsoft invited him to join them as a brand ambassador to help bring creatives closer to their products.
Aside from publishing his thoughts on UX design on Medium, he also writes a weekly newsletter about UX design and entrepreneurship with over 6,000+ subscribers.
